Loyet Wins Two More!07/20/2008 Loyet Motorsports had two Illinois races and went to win both of them. First up was Macon Speedway where Brad has yet to win a race in his career. Brad would start 5th in the heat race and take the win with a last lap pass. In the feature Brad would start in the 6th position due to having the most passing points. full storyPodium Finishes for the Weekend07/15/2008This weekend the team made the long tow up to Wisconsin to compete with the Badger midget series. First night the team ran Charter Raceway in Beaver Dam, WI. Things started off well with a 6th place qualifying run. Brad then charged from the last row of the heat race to take the heat race win. full story Brad Sweeps SMRS Weekend07/08/2008 Loyet Motorsports took their spike esslinger car out to Odessa, MO to run at I-70 Speedway over the Fourth of July weekend. For the first night the team took the heat race win and would start 6th in the feature after a draw to determine the starting positions. full storyTri-State Checkers for Loyet06/30/2008 After a tough night at Paducah International Raceway where the team had a 21st place finish after a bad ignition box they were coming out to Haubstadt, IN to take the win. In the heat race Brad would line up in 5th position and worked the high and low line to get to the front of the field and take the heat race win. full storyBrad takes Belleville06/08/2008 Brad headed to Belle-Clair Speedway with one thought in mind and that was to win. Brad had won the previous three races at the fast 1/5th mile and wanted to make it four. In the heat race Brad would start 3rd and quickly take the lead on the second lap and win the heat race. full storyNight Before the 50005/26/2008After a poor qualifying effort the team had an uphill battle. Brad would start 10th in the heat race and would have to make it into the top four to transfer into the feature. Brad used up all 10 laps that he could and only made it to 6th two spots out of making the show. full story Washed Out Weekend05/11/2008This weekends racing was rained out on both Friday and Saturday. Brad will head back to the pavement racing this week with a busy schedule. The team will be testing at ORP on Tuesday and Wednesday before headed up to Wisconsin for a three race series. Loss of Air05/06/2008After looking at weather forecasts the team decided to head to Kokomo, IN to run the Jack Hewitt Classic. They were ready to head back as they had ran well at the USAC Midget week race there last year with a third place finish. Things started off great again with Brad leading every lap in the heat race to win it. full story Tough Run at Macon04/28/2008 With high hopes returning to the points season with Powri the team came up a little short. In the heat race Brad would utilize the high line to come from his fourth place starting position to win the heat race. Brad would be third highest point getter from the heat races which would line him up 4th for the feature. full storyQuick Time in Kenly04/14/2008Brad Loyet and the team made the long haul out to North Carolina for the USAC National Midget race on the fast 4/10 mile Southern National Speedway. Brad bested the 27 car field in qualifying with a 13.613 with an average speed of 105 mph. In the heat race Brad would line up 6th and would only pass on car finishing in 5th spot. full story Top 10 from Anderson04/07/2008Loyet and the team headed to Anderson with a brad new shock package from ARS and was really excited to see how it would work on the freshly painted orange cars. The team tested the day before and found great results and got a good handle on the car. full story Two For Two Indoors03/30/2008 Brad Loyet is now two for two in indoor action at the Southern Illinois Center in Duquion, IL. The team started the night off with a solid run in the heat race coming from the front row outside to come away with the heat race win. For the feature crew chief Rusty Kunz made a call for a different right rear shock and in proved to be the winning change. full storyLooking Ahead to DuQuoin03/18/2008Next up for the team is the finale indoor event at the Southern Illinois Center. The last time Loyet Motorsports ran there they returned home with a victory. The team is setting their sites toward the same goal and hopefully win the Indoor Championship. full story USAC Opener02/18/2008With the copper on the dirt being the USAC season opener Brad and the team were hoping to start the season off with a good finish. The team had a practice day on Thursday where their engine problems would start. On the last lap of the practice session they burnt a hole in the number four cylinder piston. full story International Race #402/10/2008The 50 lapper at the springs is a very tough race to run let alone make. To qualify for the show you must run in the top 20 in two flying laps. Brad had a little bit of a problem entering the corner again but still pulled off a 13th place time. In the feature Brad would take the low line as the car would not handle very well on the cushion. full story International Race #302/05/2008The team faced a long two days while trying to prepare another car for Brad to run after the wreck the previous race. His crew chief for the New Zealand tour Billy Bland checked the car all the way around and put a standard setup on it. While running the team noticed there had been changes made to the frame which would end up hurting them. full story International Race #202/02/2008Brad Loyet went to Western Springs Speedway in search for his first 30 lap world derby victory. In the first heat race Brad struggled to get anywhere and finished 8th. In his second heat though Loyet ran the outside to get a 3rd place finish which would lock him into the feature. full story International Race #101/31/2008Loyet started his first night off in New Zealand with motor troubles until feature time. During the first heat race Brad was leading with two to go when the motor died ending a chance at heat race glory. In the second heat the car failed to fire. After checking the car out before the semi the team got the car back running and Brad came from 13th to 3rd in the semi putting him into the feature. full story First win of 200801/20/2008 Brad Loyet went to the Powri Winter Series opener with motivation. Brad is set to head off to New Zealand in less then a week and wanted another warm up before heading south. The team bundled up and battled the cold weather and tough competion all day. full storyChili Bowl Review01/18/2008 After a long week the chili bowl is complete. With four cars running the team was very busy working on all the cars. First car to run was Danny Lasoski who achieved a 14th place finish in the A feature.
